CEDO 530 6.26.11
The first class session for digital storytelling was very exciting. I was really nervous going into the class session becuase I've never done on online course before and I wasn't comfortable with the whole set up of the class. As we got into the class it definately made more sense to me and got me even more excited about the class. For only meeting for an hour I feel like I've already been given so many various resources that I could use in my work life right now. I'm especially excited about the picture assignment. I love taking pictures but never seem to have my camera around. This will be a great reason to carry it around and I'm curious what we will do with the pictures. Learning about posterous site has been the highlight of the first week of class and I'm excited to learn so much more through the upcoming weeks.

Wow Katelyn you expressed my sentiments exactly. It was comforting to know that someone else was as nervous as I was. I liked posterous too. I was so happy to find out that it worked with my cell phone because I wasn't sure how I was going to post a picture each day while on vacation.
ReplyDeleteI liked posterous as well. It seems like a nice way for families/friends who live away from each other to keep in touch and share pictures without having to sign up for other social networking sites like facebook. It is really easy to use as well.
ReplyDeleteJust as Jenny said, I felt the same way when the class first started. This is my first my first online class as well and was quite impressed how it went. I am also curious to see what we will be doing with Posterous....This is going to be a great class and i'm excited to see info and tools we will be learning.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm beginning to wonder if we weren't all just a bit nervous. Our group collective feelings make us all then feel better. Funny how that works.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I also think the Posterous site is interesting. I haven't explored it fully, but it seems to have a lot of potential.
Now to keep posting - this is a fun class, learn and enjoy!
